Adriana Posada - Velásquez
Adriana is a lawyer from Universidad Externado de Colombia (1991), with a Specialization in Contractual Law and Business Juridical Relations (1999) from the same university. She has a Diploma in International and American Law from the Centre of American and International Law, Academy of American and International Law, Dallas Texas, (2003). In 2010, she obtained a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Arizona. In 2018 she finished a Diploma in Tax, Customs and Foreign Exchange Procedures from Legis.
Partner, Founder and Director of the Firm, her main areas of practice are Mergers, Acquisitions and Transnational Reorganizations, Corporate Law and Litigations. Prior to founding A&C Legal, Adriana was a Senior Associate during 15 years at Gamboa & Chalela, and a coordinator of the Commercial and Business Law Postgraduate Program, at Santo Tomas University.
María Elena Rocha
Lawyer from Universidad de la Sabana (2014) with a specializations in Sanitary Medical Law (2017), and Employment Law (2019) at Universidad del Rosario.
Maria Elena joined A&C Legal as from 2015. She is a Senior Associate at the firm and her practice focuses on Contractual Law, Labor Law and Pharmaceutical Law; as well as on risk assessment.
Prior to joining the firm, María Elena worked as a legal clinic instructor at Universidad de la Sabana, and later as a legal defense analyst at Colpensiones.
Natalia is part of the Sustainability Committee of A&C Legal.
Camila Rodríguez - Maldonado
Camila is a lawyer from the Universidad de los Andes School of Law (2007), with a Master’s in International Law from the American University Washington College of Law (2010).
Camila joined A&C Legal in 2016, retiring for a time to undertake personal projects, and rejoining in 2020. Her main areas of practice are Compliance (Sagrilaft and PTEE), commercial law and contract law.
She began her working life as a legal intern at the Center for Justice and International Law, later working at the Organization of American States (OAS) and at the American University Washington College of Law.
Juanita Reina - Peña
Lawyer from the Universidad del Rosario (2012), with a specialization in Medical Law from the Javeriana University (2014) and a Master’s in Tort Law from the University of Girona, Spain (2017).
Juanita is a Senior Associate at A&C Legal and focuses her practice on contractual, regulatory, and compliance law in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at a law firm with an emphasis on Medical Liability.
María Margarita Palacio
Margarita is a lawyer from Universidad Externado de Colombia (1992), specialist in Insurance Law from the Javeriana University and with complementary studies in State Contracting at Universidad Externado de Colombia, Colegio Mayor del Rosario, Universidad Nueva Granada and the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá through its training programs in Public Legal Management.
Margarita supports the practice of A&C Legal of administrative law, state contracting and contracts in general.
Natalia Hincapié - Vela
Lawyer from Universidad de la Sabana (2019). She has a Diploma in Environmental Law from the Universidad Javeriana (2021).
Natalia joined A&C Legal in 2019 and her practice focuses on Contractual Law, Environmental Law and general day-to-day legal advice for the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a legal intern at Pfizer.
Natalia is part of the Sustainability Committee of A&C Legal.
Catalina Posada - Ramírez
Lawyer from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (2021). Catalina joined A&C Legal in 2022 and focuses her practice on contract law, data privacy and general legal advice with an emphasis on the pharmaceutical industry.
Before joining the Firm, she worked at a Pension, Severance, Savings and Investment Fund, and she did her internship in a Municipal Civil Court.
Ana Sofía Rincón
Lawyer from the Universidad de los Andes (2022). She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Law, Government and Justice Management at the same University.
Ana Sofía joined A&C Legal in 2022 and focuses her practice on data privacy, contract law and general day-to-day legal advice for the pharmaceutical industry.
Fabio Posada - Velásquez
Fabio has a Bachelor in Business Administration from Universidad de la Sabana (1995), a Specialization in International Finances from the same university (1998), and a Specialization in Bioethics from the Universidad el Bosque (2001). In 2003 he completed Studies for the Managment of Higher Education Institutions, in Universidad de Los Andes, and a Diploma in Law Firms Leadership and Management, from the Universidad de Los Andes (2016). Fabio Posada is A&C Legal’s General Manager, providing administrative and commercial executive direction. Prior to joining the firm, Fabio worked as Universidad de la Sabana Students Fund Financial Advisor and as a Pan American International Group General Manager. At Universidad del Bosque he worked as an Administrative Director, and later founded the Faculty of Business, where he was also the dean.
Andrés Arriola
Automotive Engineer with a specialization from the FIT University. As A&C Legal’s Operations Manager, Andrés is in charge of the Purchasing and Acquisitions Department, of carrying out operations and inventories; as well as of the Safety and Health at Work management system. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a Service Advisor, Workshop Manager, and Service Manager and Sales Advisor, at Jorge Cortes & Co. Later, he served as an insurance adjuster for Generali Seguros.
Fabio Posada - Escobar
Fabio is an economist from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, with a specialization in Agricultural Marketing from the same University and studies in programming, analysis, and systems design, at IBM. He started his professional career as Tabulation Chief and Program Analyst at the Incora, the Colombian Institute for Agrarian Reform. He worked for nearly 20 years at Acerías Paz del Río as Programming Coordinator, Head of the Program Department, Director of Finished Products and Head of Monitoring in the Vice Presidency of Operations. As Chief of Archive of A & C Legal, Fabio is in charge of file management, guaranteeing the registration, access and adequate use of companies documents.
Mopar
Mopar is a Siberian Husky and one of the most important and vital members of A & C Legal. At the age of one year and nine months, Mopar joined A&C Legal in January 2013 and he currently serves as host of A&C’s guests and visitors. In addition to reducing tension levels at meetings, Mopar is also responsible for the supervision of stress management, the coordination of active breaks, and the recreation of employees. To counteract the work pressure, Mopar provides comfort and joy to all employees, clients, and visitors of A & C Legal.
Astrid Rodríguez - Leal
Astrid has been Director of Sustainability at A&C Legal since 2019, in charge of planning and executing the firm’s sustainability agenda, the occupational health and safety management system, environmental certifications and the execution of services in management for clients of A&C Legal.
Astrid is a business administrator from the EAN University, specialist in Strategic Management from the Universidad de la Sabana, trained in Integral Management of ISO and Ohsas Systems and Internal Auditor in ISO and Ohsas.
Katherine Buitrago - Chavarro
International Business Administrator from the Universidad de la Sabana (2015). Semester abroad at Thompson Rivers University in Canada – IV semester (2012). Master in Environment and Sustainable Development from the University of Glasgow (2018).
Katherine joined A&C Legal initially in 2015 having stopped to pursue her Masters in Glasgow, rejoining in 2020.
She currently works as Management Coordinator of A&C Legal, guaranteeing the fulfillment of service to clients and giving support from the administrative perspective to the commitments and promise of service of the firm.
She is also a member of the Sustainability Committee.
